At first I was like “WTF? it was way too friggin’ cold here for a car show today!” then I quickly realized you weren’t talking about Avoca, Michigan.
(yes, coincidentally Avoca, MI is where I am this weekend. it’s... well.... let’s just say there’s not much going on here.)

Nice variety. w126 in Signalrot (I think) isn’t something you see every day. Nice to see the Airflow too, it’s still kind of wild to look at, and must have been alien in 1934. I also like the RHD export US cars, esp the Stude, 39 Ford, and Impala. Big Monaro coupe is also cool. The window blinds are also interesting.

meanwhile, here’s Wikipedia’s description of the notable parts of Avoca, MI:
Avoca is home to a grain elevator, it is a trail head of the Wadhams to Avoca Trail and holds the Saint Clair County Road Commission Garage for the northern portion of the county.

Mk IV Cortina!
Some of these Holdens look very like one of the older Vauxhall Victors.

Always love this stuff Pip. Love seeing the down under equivalents of regular-ass cars that appeal to plebes like me. Love those Holden wagons. As Aussie Pontiacs are sourced from Canadian models (they’re Chevrolets), was The Strato-Cheif sold in Oz? sort of a Biscayne with lipstick on.
